1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Alpine Retreat website and services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our website or services.

2. Reservation and Cancellation Policy

2.1 Reservations: Reservations can be made through our website, via email, by telephone, or through authorized third-party booking platforms. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.

2.2 Guarantee: All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. For certain periods and room types, a non-refundable deposit may be required.

2.3 Cancellation: Our standard cancellation policy allows for free cancellation up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival will incur a charge equivalent to one night's stay. During peak seasons and for special packages, different cancellation terms may apply and will be specified at the time of booking.

2.4 No-Show: In case of a no-show, a charge equivalent to the full amount of the reserved stay will be applied to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

3. Check-in and Check-out

3.1 Check-in Time: Standard check-in time is from 15:00 (3:00 PM) local time.

3.2 Check-out Time: Standard check-out time is until 11:00 (11:00 AM) local time.

3.3 Early Check-in/Late Check-out: Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.

3.4 Identification: In accordance with Slovenian law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (passport or ID card) at check-in.

4. Hotel Rules and Regulations

4.1 Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards other guests and staff. Disruptive behavior may result in the termination of accommodation without refund.

4.2 Smoking: Alpine Retreat is a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available outdoors. A cleaning fee of €200 will be charged for smoking in non-designated areas.

4.3 Pets: Well-behaved pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms only, subject to prior arrangement and additional charges. Service animals are exempt from these restrictions.

4.4 Damage: Guests will be held responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay and will be charged accordingly.

5. Liability

5.1 Personal Property: While we take reasonable measures to ensure the security of our premises, Alpine Retreat is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of guests' personal belongings. We recommend using the in-room safe for valuables.

5.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpine Retreat's liability for any claims arising from your stay or use of our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant stay or service.

5.3 Force Majeure: Alpine Retreat shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, terrorism, or pandemics.
